John 4:23-24 ``Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
Worship is expressed in a number of different ways, but it has the same purpose. It removes the focus from ourselves and points us back to the person of Jesus. How we see God will dictate our relationship with Him. It is not that God needs our worship and adoration, but we will become that which we worship. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, our circumstances are given perspective. Worship can take you in and out of seasons and it will always draw you into the throne room. It is what we were created to do.
